Saho Iwamura

Saho was born and raised in Japan, and now lives in San Francisco. She chose Presidio because of the unique student body and faculty. She works as a corporate finance manager at McKesson, a Fortune 15 company, and has a passion for creating sustainable development in Africa.

Saho says many students choose to attend business school as a way to make more money and get ahead in their careers, and most MBAs aren't necessarily motivated to contribute to society and make a difference. "I want to deal with more important questions, such as the nature of the corporate role in society and how we can make earth a more sustainable place to live," Saho says. “The people at Presidio know how to listen to their calling and act on it. This is a quality not often found, I believe, in students and faculty in traditional MBA programs."
