Hunter LovinsL. Hunter Lovins, Esq., is the president and founder of Natural Capitalism, Inc. and co-creator of the Natural Capitalism concept. In 1982 she co-founded Rocky Mountain Institute and led that organization as its CEO for Strategy until 2002. Under her leadership, RMI grew into an internationally recognized research center, widely celebrated for its innovative thinking in energy and resource issues. At Presidio School of Management, Hunter teaches the Principles of Sustainable Management and Implementation of Sustainable Business Practices in the MBA program. She holds a J.D. degree from Loyola University and several honorary doctorates. In 2000, she was named a Hero of the Planet by TIME magazine. In great demand as a speaker and consultant, Hunter's areas of interest and expertise include Natural Capitalism, globalization, economic development, governance, land management, energy, water, green real-estate development and community economic development. | |
